The 300 members are here
the goodie has found its winner
On September 6, 2026, at 4 pm (Paris time), DevHub reached its 300 human members. The ranking was frozen at that exact moment, as announced: the most active member takes home their personalized goodie.

65.25 points
Calculated from August 10 to September 6, 2026, among 300 human members (308 including bots). Congratulations, and thank you to everyone who brought life to the server this month.
The prize
One winner, one unique item. The most active member chooses their support—mug, desk mat, or phone case—and the item is crafted with their avatar, the DevHub logo, and a background generated from the colors of their profile picture. No one else will have the same.
How the Ranking Was Built
The server thrives because its members make it thrive. There was nothing to sign up for, nothing to validate: activity was measured automatically—just being present and helpful was enough. Three ways to earn points made all the difference.
Share Your Projects
Show what you're building, even if it's a work in progress. An unfinished project explained clearly is better than a perfect one never shared.
Share Your Struggles
Ask questions, describe bugs, share mistakes. That’s what sparks the best technical discussions on the server.
Help Others
Answer, review, suggest a path. Peer support was the heaviest-weighted criterion—it’s the whole reason DevHub exists.
How Activity Was Tracked
A module ran on the server side and continuously recorded activity. No commands to type, no rankings displayed on Discord: the score built itself based on what everyone actually did. This points system remains in place after the contest.
Collaboration
Replying to someone, unblocking a member, giving feedback on a project or a code snippet.
High WeightProjects & Discussions
Starting a project post or launching a topic that sparks reactions was more valuable than a standalone message.
High weightMessages
Messages that add value. A well-developed message was worth more than a single-word reaction.
Medium weightVoice Chat
Time spent in active voice chats, during Saturday lessons or spontaneous sessions.
Medium weightCommunity Feedback
Reactions received on messages—this is the server acknowledging that the content was useful.
Low weightConsistency
A bonus for each day of active participation. Regular attendance mattered more than a single intense day.

What Counted
- Messages that contributed meaningfully to a discussion.
- Responses and help given to other members.
- Projects, questions, and topics shared in dedicated channels.
- Time spent in voice chat with other members.
What Didn’t Count
- Spam and flooding: messages sent too quickly, too short, or copy-pasted.
- Technical channels, bot channels, and test channels.
- Staying alone in a voice channel just to keep the counter running.
- Staff members, who were excluded by principle.
How It Ended
No fixed deadline: the community itself decided when to stop. The contest ended exactly when the server hit 300 human members—bots weren’t counted. The rankings were frozen at that moment, and the winner was announced on Discord shortly after.
Stay tuned
The points system doesn't stop with the contest: it keeps running and will be adapted for what's next. There will be surprises for the server's anniversary, on October 11, 2026 at 8:44 pm (Paris time) — exactly one year later, down to the minute.
