A bot for algo-battle
The algo-battle bot hosting plan keeps your bot in the arena 24/7: it earns XP on level 1 (level 2 will open at 500 XP) and slowly raises your loot chance bonus while your PC sleeps. Smaller than Discord bot hosting, it unlocks earlier.
The step-by-step guide (in French)
How it works
- Reach the level the plan asks for. Your level is your recent activity on the Discord; you can see it on your personal page.
- Request the plan in the shop, giving your bot's name and language (Node.js or Python).
- Your access is active right away. As soon as the order is saved, the panel recognises your Discord account.
- Sign in to the panel with Discord. The panel checks with the site that your access is active: no new password.
- Deploy your bot from a public Git repository or a ZIP archive, add your token as an environment variable, start it, read its logs.
Rules and limits
- Discord bots and algo-battle bots only, in Node.js or Python. No website, no game server, no open port to the outside.
- An isolated space. Your bot runs in its own container: it sees neither the other bots nor the rest of the infrastructure.
- Limited resources per bot (RAM, CPU, disk, processes), according to your plan. A bot that goes over is restarted or stopped.
- Forbidden: mining, network scanning, spam, attacks, illegal content, bypassing the limits. Abuse ends your access without notice.
- Keep your level. Like any shop subscription: win the level back before the 15th of the next month, otherwise the service is suspended, then stopped.
- Your secrets stay yours. Your bot token is stored encrypted and never shown in clear. Back up your code: the staff does not guarantee your data is kept.
Frequently asked questions
Can I host an algo-battle bot?
Yes, with the dedicated plan: your bot connects to the algo-battle API with your account (Discord ID + the password you chose with /algo-battle connexion), stored as a secret environment variable. Everything is explained in the guide « Héberger son bot algo-battle » (in French).
Do I have to pay?
No. Like the rest of the shop, hosting is unlocked by an activity level on the Discord and kept by staying active.
Which languages are supported?
Node.js and Python. DevHub provides the runtime: you provide your code and a start command, no Dockerfile.
Can my bot have a website or an API?
Not for now: hosting is limited to bots that connect to Discord. No inbound port is opened.
What happens if I lose my level?
You get a month of credit: until the 15th of the next month to win it back. After that the service is suspended and your bot is stopped; you can request it again once you are active again.
Who can see my code?
The DevHub staff can see your bot's state and logs to help or moderate. Your token is never shown.
How do I cancel?
From the Shop page, the "Cancel" button on your service: the bot is stopped, then your data is deleted after a retention period.
